The band is made up of volunteers and ordinarily consists of 28 to 35 players depending ont he type of event or contest entered. The band can also provide a small ensemble for specil occassions and events.

The day to day management and administration of the band relies on the hard work of its volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the organisation.

Band Governance
As a charity registered in England and Wales, the overall governance of the band is vested in its trustees. Current trustees are Andrew Robins, (Chair), Darren Thomas (Secretary), Lee Elliott (Treasurer) and band members Shoko Doherty and Georgina Evans.
